Glen Rose — Lambic-Style with Roussanne

Oenobeer Wine-Beer Hybrid • 6.5% abv

Pleasantly sour with hints of dark fruit and leather. Golden in color, with notes of red wine, vanilla and oak from the freshly-emptied wine barrels.

We draw all of our water at Vista from the Trinity Aquifer, 450 feet below the surface. Glen Rose isjust one of the formations that make up this aquifer, providing us with beautiful, mineral-rich water.

This farmhouse-style ale showcases Vista’s water and pays homage to the styles of the Senne Valley of Belgium. A blend of six micro-cultures, conditioned in barrels for over 12 months, produces a mildly tart ale that will cellar well for years to come

The fruity and tannic flavors are a natural pairing with soft cheese such as Brie, grilled steak, or fruit desserts.

GRAINS: Locally grown and malted barley from Blacklands Malt and un-malted wheat from Barton Springs Mill

YEAST: A mixture of six different cultures to mimic traditional spontaneous fermentations of southern Belgium

BARRELS: Freshly-emptied red blend barrels from Bending Branch Winery in Comfort, TX

HOPS: House-aged, whole cone noble hops

WATER: Vista’s aquifer-fed well water
