“Driftwood Nights” w/ Anna Larson

Vista Brewing Presents: "Driftwood Nights" w/ Anna Larson Anna Larson makes music that loves the right word. The piano is her partner-in-crime, side-kick, and confidant. These sounds are a map: tracing the route from old-time Texas gospel, to the revelation of rock n' roll, the solitude of the concert hall, and finally discovering that she had a voice, and it needed to sing For more information visit: www.annalarsonmusic.com

Hartley Hall

February 24th @ 3:00 pm

Join us Sunday, February 24th for an afternoon of live music under the oaks with Hartley Hall!! You’re in for something wonderfully different--fresh takes on classic country hits, new versions of pop songs, with cowboy yodeling songs and stories intertwined. She’s a southern belle comedienne with dry-as-the-desert self reflection and a voice like “Lana Del Rey meets Patsy Cline”. Hartley’s writing is portraiture of life as a common, less-than-blue collar class American. Her song ‘Country Bar’ states “working in a country bar…

March 1st @ 6:30 pm

Vista Brewing Presents: "Driftwood Nights" w/ Carson McHone Years before Rolling Stone was praising Carson McHone's rule-breaking roots music, the Austin, Texas native played weeknights in local bars like The White Horse, keeping dancers dancing and drinkers drinking. With her 21st birthday still in the distance, McHone entertained late-night crowds bearing witness to the good times and bad decisions that fill a busy bar. It was a rare, raw education. She pumped her music full of details from an early adulthood spent in the company of the heartbroken and high-toleranced. In 2015, McHone released Goodluck Man which earned her a…

“Driftwood Nights” w/ Longriver

March 8th @ 6:30 pm

Vista Brewing Presents: "Driftwood Nights" w/ Longriver Longriver was born David Longoria in Houston, Texas. He is a singer, songwriter, and poet living in Austin. Influenced by the songs of Bob Dylan, Charley Patton, John Fahey, Rolling Stones, Hank Williams, etc., Longriver plays guitar and harmonica. Now, the Austin songwriter and poet (Longriver) turns towards an intimate folk. The intricate guitar work that highlighted last year’s demos and cassette-only debut hearkened John Fahey as Longriver spins mesmerizing acoustic soundscapes." – Doug…
