Free Beer Sampling with Pink Boots Society

Join the Pink Boots Society Austin & San Antonio Chapters for a FREE tasting event of area breweries' 2024 collaboration beers!

FREE Tasting Event at Vista Brewing on Sunday, April 28 from 12pm - 3 pm

RAIN OR SHINE! In the event of rain, the tastings will move indoors.

Join the Austin and San Antonio chapters of the Pink Boots Society to support women in the fermentation industry. Sample a variety of beers and ciders created using the same hop blend. Proceeds from these beers sold around Central Texas benefit the Pink Boots Society and scholarships for women in the fermentation industry.

Check out the list below for a preview of participating breweries and their collab beers (updated as details are known).

The shared element of all of these beers is the Pink Boots Hop Blend, selected by chapters around the world each year. This year's blend includes El Dorado®, Ahtanum®, Idaho 7®, HBC 638. The sensory team at YCH expects berry and citrus punctuated with peppery earthiness and floral notes.

About Pink Boots Society

We are here to ASSIST, INSPIRE, & ENCOURAGE women and/or non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage profession through EDUCATION.

About Collaboration Brew Day

Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day® was born from our members’ desire to take part in International Women’s Day (IWD) March 8th by raising the profile of women’s roles in the beer industry. Chapters and members of Pink Boots Society get together along with supporting breweries and individuals, put on their pink boots, and brew their chosen beer style. Pink Boots Society splits proceeds from sales of this collaboration brew with participating chapters. The revenue is applied to educational scholarships and programming for its members.

About the Yakima Chief Hop Blend

Yakima Chief Hops donates $3 from every pound sold to Pink Boots Society for education and programming. YCH recently presented Pink Boots with a $124,296 check from proceeds from the sale of last year’s 4th annual hop blend. These funds are used to support our future scholarship efforts.
