Bliss Barrel Release Happy Hour with Vista Brewing

Four times per year, Vista releases a new bottle from our barrel program. Join us Thursday, June 8th from 4-7PM and be the first to sample our newest brew, Bliss — Barrel Aged Wild Ale with Plums.

You’ll receive a complimentary sample of Bliss as well as 20% off bottles. Thursdays also happen to feature our wildly popular $15 Burger & Brew special.

Vista’s barrel program creates delicate, unique brews made with 100% Texas grains and Vista’s own mineral-rich well water. Expect complex, mixed-culture styles fermented in freshly-emptied wine barrels from our Central Texas neighbors and a small-batch spirits-barrel program using Texas craft spirits barrels.

HAPPINESS IN A BOTTLE :

Smile and enjoy a sip of this fruit-forward, mixed culture ale. Beginning with 100% Texas grown malts, house-aged hops and water from Vista's aquifer-fed well, this Belgian golden ale, along with loads of plums, spent 12 months in neutral French oak barrels.

Bliss is a palate pleasing ale that yields plenty of stone fruit and citrus notes with medium body.

FLAVOR :

Pouring a pretty dusty rose color, you'll find citrus on the nose followed by plum, grapefruit and pleasing Brett flavors.

PAIRING :

Bliss can be served alongside both sweet and savory dishes, such as grilled pork belly or a stone fruit tart.
