Join us Sunday, November 3rd for an afternoon of live music under the oaks with Stone Wheels!!
Inspired by adventures in Patagonia and born in the fertile musical grounds of Austin, Stone Wheels delivers cosmic country sounds accompanied by high energy and good vibes. Songwriter Andrew C. Gerfers combines his love of nature with tales of life, love and loss, delivering genuine, engaging lyrics. Influenced by Texas songwriters like Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt and Kris Kristofferson but inspired by the tones and harmonies of the Byrds, Beach Boys and Grateful Dead, Stone Wheels delivers a sound that is uniquely Austin.
Joining Gerfers, Austin music veterans Gary Newcomb on pedal steel, guitarist Landis Armstrong, drummer George Duron and Einar Pedersen on bass, deliver a sonic experience that can only be compared to solar energy. After touring behind their acclaimed 2018 self-titled album, Stone Wheels has become a fixture across Texas, from the Hill Country to the High Desert. Gerfers’ band of psychedelic outlaws deliver vibrant, drifting tunes simultaneously reminding listeners of open-windowed road trips and grass between the toes.
