Vista Brewing Presents: “Driftwood Nights” w/ Selena Rosanbalm
Selena Rosanbalm is a honky tonk/country/singer-songwriter based in Austin, TX. She is best known as the frontwoman for Rosie and the Ramblers.
Rosanbalm was classically trained and earned a degree in Musical Theatre Performance, but she grew up singing Faith Hill and Shania Twain songs into her hairbrush. She has been performing professionally in Austin for over a decade, having performed with Zach Scott Theatre and Zilker Theatre Productions. She played the title role in TexARTS’ production of Always… Patsy Cline for which she received a Best Acting in a Leading Role nomination from the Austin Critics Table. Rosanbalm started honky tonk band Rosie and the Ramblers soon after. She released an album of original songs that are “unflinchingly honest and patently humorous” (Austin Chronicle) in 2014 and has plans to record again late this year.
