Join us on Thursday, Sept. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. for the release of Well Head, an American Lager brewed in collaboration with the Texas Brewshed Alliance and fellow members Real Ale and Black Star Co-op.
We got together to brew a special collaboration, with all three breweries brewing the exact same recipe with the same ingredients using water from different sources. We chose an American Lager style, a clean and light beer which will highlight the role that water plays in the brewing process.
Vista’s Well Head Lager is a 5.1% abv crisp & crushable classic lager. Light, clear, and slightly sweet, this beer truly puts the mineral-rich water front and center. Vista sources all of its water for brewing from a well from the Middle Trinity aquifer, 450 feet below the surface in Driftwood. All three breweries used classic American Ahtanum hops from Yakima Chief Hops and is from local Texas Yeast Labs.
